The book im reading is called the hunger games. Its about a girl named katniss who gets picked and is forced to go in to a game called the hunger games. The most important rule is to fight for death and its on live t.v! This game also choses a boy and girl to fight in an arena. You can use wepons like knives, swords, and bow and arrows ect. Katniss has a sister named Prim who was chosen to go to the hunger games but Katniss didnt want Prim to die at the age 12 (ages 12-18 go to the games)! Katniss is now fighting someone from district 8 (did I also mention that there are 12 districts) and shes hiding in a forest which the forest is part of the arena. She also meets a guy named Petta and he and Katniss is in my opinion are acting like they love each other on t.v.
How in the world did katniss mom get that name? Will Katniss survive or will she face her death? Could Katniss win the games?! I will recomend you all read this book PLEASE do!
