Ark angel is about a British m16 14 year old agent (but much bloodier then that stupid spy kids thing) and if you read it you may decide spies are not the best job...
At my point in the book our hero has been shot by a sniper put in a hospital with large stitches protected a (almost) kidnapped roommate, got tranqed, used trapeze walking and his own blood covered (bloody) stitches to balance on a tight rope and get to safety from a building, he has been at gun point twice now and almost killed! the group he is being destroyed by is called force three (named after the third planet from the sun) (earth) and they are basically Eco terrorists, they wanna protect this world by killing (usually blowing up) anyone that makes an enemy out of them, including Alex (the protagonist) who almost killed his men to save his roomate! THIS IS EXTREMELY SUSPENSEFUL AND SHOULD BE TAKEN WITH FOOD!
So I feel at the brink of suspense because ANYTHING could happen (except laser shooting Pegasus demons from the moon).

Shiver
Right now I am reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. It is about a girl who falls in love with a werewolf. But here, werewolves only have a few years of switching from human to wolf. So now the werewolf has to fight to stay human. The girl is Grace and the werewolf is Sam.
Just like in Twilight, only a few people that aren't werewolves who know about werewolves . Here, they only have a few years until the werewolves stop becoming human. In Twilight, they stop becoming wolves after they haven't been wolves for a while (kind of confusing). Also like Twilight, the werewolves could read each others minds when they are all wolves. But, in Twilight, the wolves could actually like, talk in their minds to other wolves. Here, they can only show pictures to the other wolves. It kinda also works if one is a wolf and one is a human.
When Grace was 11, she was attacked by the werewolves in the forest behind her house. Her house was very close so she could've screamed for help but she didn't. Why didn't she fight and scream??? She just stared at them (weird). I would've been so scared.
After that, she would always watch one wolf during the winter. It had yellow eyes (she didn't know this yet, but that was Sam). She was kind of obsessed with the wolves, just like I'm obsessed with Twilight :). But why was she obsessed? Why wasn't she scared of them???? They attacked her so shouldn't she be scared of them????????
Apparently, the longer you are a werewolf, the more heat you need to change you into a human and the less coldness you need to change into a wolf. So, why does temperature matter when you're a werewolf?????
I felt really bad for Grace when Sam left. He was fighting to stay human (not like real fighting but like not going outside and just staying in the warm. They just call it fighting.) but then he just gave up. The car hit a deer and the engine was dead so Sam decided to just give up. When Sam was a wolf, she would feel really bad when she heard him howl.
This is a really good book and if you love Twilight (like me!!!!!!!:)), you will probably like this book.
Who was Annie Oakley?
Hiya! It's me again. This week I'm typing about a book called Who was Annie Oakley?. It is nonfiction and it's about a woman named Annie Oakley who performed in vaudeville and in a circus doing shooting acts. (Don't worry, she didn't shoot people, just playing cards and clay targets.) What REALLY interested me was how she gave (lots of) money to charities and taught other women to shoot so they wouldn't have to depend on men to protect them.( Yay, women!) If you like people who accomplish something in their lives,
this is the book for you!

Eclipse
Wow it has been so long since we have all been back:) so I'm going to start where we left off..........its graduation time!! they are all happy about the graduation party Alice is throwing for Bella except of course Bella....Bella hates parties and surprise as you probably now if you had read the twilight saga... WOW the Cullen's house where they are throwing the party is beautifull it almost looks like a night club..the first ring at the doorbell was a wad of Bella's friends they all rode together in a big van..then came Ben and Angie and more kept on coming in.... there were a lot of people Alice started talking to Bella and then she said why do i smell dog (in a harsh tone) Bella said..oh yea i forgot to tell you i invited Jacob (werewolf) and his pack (also all werewolf's) as you all probably know the were wolfs and vampires are enemies...Jacob came in happy (as usual) and gave Bella a beautiful bracelet with a charm of a wolf that he made himself....wow it was beautiful... Bella was so thank full and then had to go find Alice because she had just noticed that she didn't see any of the Cullen's anywhere...she noticed that they were probably talking about the thing Alice saw..the 19 or so new born vampires coming this way. turns out they were talking about that so once everyone left after having a good time it was only the were wolfs and the Cullen's and of course Bella they decides that they were going to need the were wolfs help to be able to defeat the 19 new born vampires and the 2 creators behind all this...so that's what they did. Bella and Edward stayed behind at the campsite..while the were wolfs and all the Cullen's other than Edward were fighting out there.Seth the newest and youngest werewolf was taking watch over the campsite..Victoria and the other bad vampire (bad vampires ) came to the campsite the werewolf( Seth) attacked the boy vampire and killed him and Edward did the same to Victoria..all the fights were over but what they hadn't realized is that there was one new born still hiding which almost hurt Leah (werewolf) but then Jacob (werewolf) knocked her out of the way so she wouldn't get hurt but then Jacob got himself hurt....Bella felt so bad she hadn't wanted the were wolfs to be involved anyway........(forgot to mention that Bella and Edward are engaged.) then the volturi (vampires from new moon) showed up and they killed a newborn vampire named Betta... they told them good job on killing the newborns and told them that they had a date to have Bella be changed into a vampire...Bella went to see if Jacob was OK....that's pretty much it
The end of eclipse the third book of the twilight saga!

Three Kingdoms
Hi everyone. My current blog will have a LOT of summary so bear with me. Im am currently reading a book that is called Three Kingdoms. It is a famous Chinese classic( glad it was translated). Their is no real main character because it shifts between different peoples views. Right now the 3 main sides are the North led by Cao Cao, the East and West led by Xuande, and the South led by Sun Quan. Nobody takes over China eventually but instead seperated into 3 Kingdoms led by the heirs of the leaders shown above.
If there was a main Character it would be Xuande and his Brothers Lord Guan and Zhang Fei( lots of people so many similar names). They took an oath in a Peach Garden and thus became Brothers. Recently 1 Brother, Lord Guan, was captured and beheaded(.......) and his eldest Brother Xuande is preparing for a counterattack. I read through the books a lot faster now because I am more used to the Characters. I am suprised by the fact I am able to finish a single book in 2 to 4 weeks especially because they are longer now. Right now I happen to be on book 4 of 7.
This series has Strategy ,emotion , and some funny stuff( which sometimes isn't very 'clean' funny). Such as a man butchering his wife to feed Xuande, no offence anyone. Another is they were trying to capture Cao Cao and said Cao Cao's the one in the Red Robe, so he took it of, then they said he had a long beard so he cut it short, then they said he had short whiskers so he covered his chin with a banner. Lots of violence is in this book so viewer discretion is advised. At first it was boring but after you finish the first book it is very addicting.
sequel intended

The People of Sparks
I read The People Of Sparks, by Jeanne DuPrau. It is science fiction (post-apocalyptic ).It's in the way future, but it seems like the past. (You'll know what I mean when you read the book. ) It is the second Book Of Ember (sequel to The City Of Ember). In The City Of Ember, Lina Mayfleet and Doon Harrow find their way out of their underground city, which they have lived in for many years. They never even know that it was underground. They wander for days out side, exhausted and hungry.
The People of Sparks continues the story about them. The Emberites finally come to a little village called Sparks. At first, the people of Sparks are very generous and give them lots of food and stuff. Then, they start hating each other, being mean, and hitting each other, because they think the Sparks people are dumb and don't know what the seasons, bread, and other common things are. They treat them badly. People get angrier and angrier, and then there is war. They have to find out some way to stop it, or they'll die. . . .
Connections--We learned about SF in the classroom, and post-apocalyptic is a type of science fiction. Also, this book reminds me that maybe someday there will be a war and only a few people survive.
Reactions-- This book made me want to read on and on, because it was really exciting.
It was also sad in some parts.
Opinions-- I really like how this book makes you think. Also, it's what really could happen in the future. Maybe in the future, the whole world would be almost destroyed, and there would be people that survived and had to start from scratch again, with no computers, movies, TVs and things like that. Also, this is a pretty good book.
Predictions-- I think that in the next books, it will tell how the Emberites rebuild the destroyed city.
Questions:-- I wonder why the Sparks people were so mean to the Emberites? In the beginning they were very nice.
Visualizations-- In my head, I could see the destroyed city, with the roofs stripped off buildings, rubble everywhere, dirt, stuff like that. I could also see how it looked after it was rebuilt.
Also, do you like the font in the summary? (It's Kristen ITC and Comic Sans MS)

The Hunger Games
Dear Class,
The book I am reading this week is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The book is about a girl named Katniss she hunts a lot with her friend Gale. They live in a place called District 12. Every year all the districts pick from a drawing for the Hunger Games. You have to be 12-18 to be in the drawing. The Districts pick one boy and one girl to go to the games. The way to play is to fight to the death and if you win you and your family will get all this great stuff. The day of the drawing, Katniss's sister Prim was picked!! Katniss runs up and says she will volunteer for Katniss. When she gets to the capitol she has to get ready for her entrance with the other guy with her (Peeta). When she enters the Coliseum she is on fire holding hands with the Peeta. (She is in a Fire suit.) The crowd is wild they are screaming "Katniss! Katniss!" When she gets to her hotel she finds her room and it is Awesome!!! That's how far i am so far.
I Predict that Katniss will win the hunger games!! I wonder why she is name Katniss?????????

A Mango-Shaped Space
The book I am reading now (actually I finished it already) is called....(drumroll) A Mango-Shaped Space, by Wendy Mass. It's an amazing book. It's about Mia, a 13 year old synthesete. (DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK, I JUST PUT IT THERE. CLICK ON IT AFTER YOU FINISH THE BOOK OR IT WILL GIVE EVERY THING AWAY. ) Did I mention that I don't like giving away endings to really good books? Don't search that word on Google, find the definition of it, or anything like that. Okay, I'll just tell you the prologue. In the prologue, Mia is in third grade. She needs to do a math equation on the board. She thought that if she wrote slowly enough, she wouldn't finish. So, she writes each letter in it's right color....
"Mia!" her teacher says. "This isn't art class. Just use the white chalk.
"But isn't it better to use the right colors?
"What do you mean, the right colors?"
"The colors. The colors of the numbers, you know, like the two is pink, well of course it's not this shade of pink, more like a cotton candy pink, and the four is this baby-blanket blue color, and I...I just figured that it would be easier to do the math problems with the numbers in the right colors. Right?"
And then her teacher gets mad, sends her to the principal, the principal gets mad, tells her mom, mom gets mad, etc. People call her a freak.
That's the summary of the prologue.
These are my thoughts for this book. First, this book is the best book I've ever read. It's really good. You should really read it. Also, why did Mia wait to tell everyone? She should have done it when she was younger. It doesn't make sense. This book is really sad in the end. I really like the meaning of it. You might be wondering why it is called A Mango Shaped Space. Well, Mia has a cat called Mango.
